Asus has started rolling out an over the air (OTA) update for its Zenfone 3 smartphone range. The update brings enhanced VoLTE connectivity support, making the smartphones fully compatible with Reliance Jio.
The company has already launched a couple of new smartphones in India in the first two months of the 2017.
Asus Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE (ZB500KL) features a 5-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution. Powering the device is a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. There's 16GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards.Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box, the handset sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. Backed by a 2,600mAh battery, it offers 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as major connectivity options.Earlier this month, Asus launched its Zenfone 3S Max smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 14,999, the battery-focused smartphone comes with a 5,000mAh battery.
