2018 World Cup Qualifier- Zambia Vs Nigeria (Drop Your Predictions!!!!)

So Naijalodities, the big game is on Sunday, October 9th, as Gernot Rohr’s Super Eagles, or put, our Super Eagles will a face a determined Zambia outfit at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium Ndola in Zambia.

We are expecting a really difficult match after being drawn in a tough group with big names such as Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia.

The Chipolopolo’s though have already bluntly warned us that it will not be an easy game.

Zambia goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene told the press:

“When the media say you are no-hopers and certain to finish last, that motivates you,” he said ahead of the game in central city Ndola.

“Deep down, Algeria, Cameroon and Nigeria know it is not going to be easy playing against us. Being outsiders suits us just fine.”

Boss Gernot Rohr, though is not underrating our Sunday opponents. He told the media:

“Do not forget that Zambia are a big team, too,” He began.

“They were the 2012 Nations Cup winners.

“The group is open, but I think the motivation of the Nigerian team is very high. Time is not on my side, but it is possible to build a very good team.”

With  Isaac Success and Victor Moses set to miss out on the crucial clash due to injuries, we are grateful teenage sensation Kelechi Iheanacho is in the squad and will most definitely start.
